CHACO is always looking for talented members to serve on the Board of Directors. The Board values different backgrounds and perspectives to represent members. Any member in good standing is eligible to run for a three-year term.

The role of the Board of Directors

As representatives of the membership of Chaco Credit Union, Board Members review the financial condition of CHACO, make decisions on the direction of CHACO, and set the vision for the future of CHACO. Board Members must be able to attend a monthly board meeting and also serve on committees. Generally, Board Members will need to dedicate about six hours a month to CHACO business.

How to Join

Election for the Board of Directors are held every year. If you are interested in running for a seat, you need to fill out an application. The nominating committee will review all applications and determine eligibility of all candidates. Approved candidates will then be listed on a ballot and voted on by CHACO members.
